May. 8th, 2011 09:55 amARGH. Why would anyone, ever, save a document as a docx file??? It makes me really frustrated because then I have to dust off OpenOffice, which I have never figured out how to use and always wants me to save things as odt files and replaces characters fucking RANDOMLY (me: What the hell IS that character, Open Office? because it's sure as hell not the bullet it was clearly intended to be.)
I don't even like word that much, but it's incredibly frustrating to be very fluent at Word and then someone throws a docx file and in other words, I have to write an annual plan and OpenOffice is making it look like gibberish no matter how many times I change the bullets back to bullets I always get this weird greek character instead of a fucking bullet.
