Oh, man, are AUs where Bones-watches-Kirk from afar a trope in McCoy/Kirk? Because this is the second fic I've read today where the plot is McCoy watches Kirk from afar (as in a darkened bedroom where he sees into Kirk's bedroom or through blinds while Kirk delivers mail) like a giant creeper, and we're supposed to think that this is ok. I think we're even supposed to think it's cute because in these fics Kirk thinks it's "cute".

Watching someone compulsively when you don't know they know isn't cute. It's creepy. *hands*
