Book Release

Hi all!

I've been pretty quiet on the fannish front for a couple of years now, but I've been working on something that I'm excited to share.

About a year ago, I had the idea for a book that was "What if Georgette Heyer, but gay and in space?" So I wrote that book.

The Earl and the Executive is about a aeromech professor who inherits his brother's title and debt. In order to save his estate, he decides to marry a rich heir. Unfortunately he's not great at courting people so he hires a courtesan. Shenanigans ensue, including secret identities and falling in love.

Anyway! Excited to share!

Such a smashing premise. I am going to try and get this info in front of all the people I know who might be into that sort of thing (which... pretty much everyone I know? we're all friends for reasons...). I'm also trying to figure out how best to actually get to read it myself; I have never yet bought something from Amazon, but I will figure it out, it's good to learn new things!

And congrats! Well done! You Did The Thing, and that is amazing all by itself.

I’m so glad that it sounds good to you, one of my fears while writing it was, “what if this only appeals to me?” It’s a relief to know that’s not true.

I think theoretically the paperback should be available from US book distributors but I’m not positive and not sure how it works (and I vaguely remember you are in Australia? Is that still true?)

Anyway, it made my evening to hear from you! (And that you still remember me!)

Thank you! It’s definitely been a new experience! I’m still kind of in the “hey, I did a thing!” Stage (although I’m also feeling that day-after-posting fic “what did I doooo”)
