Fringe 3x16-3x17

Every time I think that I don't like the show, the show does something like this. THIS SHOW.

Ok, I still love Astrid. I love Bell-in-Olivia HITTING ON ASTRID. AND ASTRID BEING CREEPED OUT BY IT. On the LGBT challenge there was a prompt about Astrid having an awesome girlfriend and I almost took it because I don't understand why the show doesn't have entire episodes about her! No more episodes about 1981. MORE EPISODES ABOUT ASTRID.

I also love that Peter realized he needed to be honest with Olivia. That not telling her the truth would only lead to bad things. The way Olivia immediately realized he was the one who killed the shapeshifters was so, so well played.

Side bar: I LOVE Olivia telling Peter that she doesn't like his, "dig through to bone" style of massage.

I love how they're playing Bell in Olivia, and how Walter is clearly the beta in this relationship, where Bell is Alpha, Alpha, Alpha. And how Bell and Walter have the sense of humor of six year olds. And how they're talking about putting Bell's consciousness in Gene's body.

AND LEE! WE GOT LEE AGAIN! (And Trixie from Deadwood. Who was awesome as a conflicted suicide hotline worker)

THIS SHOW. WHY DO I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

"I'd have to milk you." They're pretty messed up, but I really, really love them.

God, YES, how can we get the showrunners to get how much more Astrid we need? MORE. ASTRID. NOW. Thank goodness for Season 4 is all I can say at this point!

Bwahaha, yes! CORRECT RESPONSE. Also, Anna Torv is a genius. I know everyone is agitating for an Emmy nod for John Noble, and it's true, he's astounding as the Walters, but Anna Torv? Ohmygod, Anna Torv.
