Good Reads

Does anyone use Good Reads as a real social networking site? I find myself posting reviews that no one reads and mostly just using it to keep track of the books I read out of... pride, I guess?

How would it work as a social network, anyway?

I don't use it a social site per se but I do have an account there. Mostly I use it to get book recs from people in my friends list which are family type people.

Hee! I totally always check to see that a book has good reviews before buying it!

I get the digests of my friends' updates, and have found some pretty fascinating-sounding books there. I'm here, if you want to do the friends thing!

I use it to track my reading but also to see what my friends are reading, because they often introduce me to new things! I also use it to read the general summaries and reviews people write up on books I *might* be interested in reading.
